• Work assignment desk monitoring scanners, managing/assisting news crews and researching and investigating stories.
• Manage content updates including wire stories and breaking news emails for the website and through social media.

Production Director – The Volunteer Channel / UT TV [Aug. 2010 – present]

Supervised 12 student produced shows and over 200 students and volunteers for the University of Tennessee’s TV station, The Volunteer Channel (TVC-UTTV). TVC prepares students for future careers in broadcast and online journalism.
